Patagonian Worker's Front Flag
Patagonian Worker's Front Flag

The Patagonian Worker’s Front (Frente Obrero Patagónico, FOP), commonly known simply as Patagonia, is a state and revolutionary movement in South America. Established during the Patagonian Rebellion of 1920-22, which led to the expulsion of government authority south of the Rio Negro, Patagonia is considered to be the spearhead of South American anarcho-syndicalism, as it proclaimed a socialist state in the Americas already years before the Chilean Revolution of 1927. The FOP borders Chile to the west and the legitimate Argentinian government to the north.

Even though nominally independent, Patagonia is recognized by no South American nation except Chile, on which the FOP is heavily dependent, as it lacks proper industry and suffers from constant food and material shortages, as the Patagonian east coast finds itself under a permanent naval blockade by the Buenos Aires government. In recent years, Chile has propped up Patagonia as a rival government to the one in Buenos Aires, with the eventual goal to spread syndicalism all over South America; With Argentina now being under the rule of Manuel Carlés and the bloodthirsty Liga Patriótica Argentina, confrontation between north and south seems to become more and more inevitable with every month.
