The Loyalist faction in TDS is a reactionary government formed under President Langdon after the failure of the 1936 coalition government. It was inspired by combining Kaiserreich's old Macarthur Federalist and Union State factions into one, under a fictionalised Huey Long as president. Read more on the Divided States website.

After marching on Federal holdings, Langdon adopted the Presidential Flag used by Lincoln during the first civil war. By adopting his eagle crest, Langdon likens his government to the Union marching against traitorous breakaway states.
