China after the Xuantong Restoration
The end of the last Zhifeng War in 1928 brought a close to nearly four years of chaos, and began the longest period of peace enjoyed by some parts of China since 1911. Trade flows through the Lower Yangtze, the coastal cities thrive, and the bright lights of Shanghai have drawn the attention of the world.
Yet, beneath the surface the Central Government finds its authority contested on all sides. The Fengtian Government in the Northeast claims to be the last bastion of Chinese republicanism, and rallies its forces for reconquest. Kuomintang agitators spread throughout the south, speaking of a new revolution. Even Beijing’s various allies across the country make for unenthusiastic components of the Empire, and slowly drift further from meaningful control.
Meanwhile Germany and Japan never truly ended their confrontation. The specter of the Rising Sun looms across much of the country, and once close relations with Germany have gradually soured. China enters 1936 divided and caught between the gaping jaws of foreign imperialism.

Finding an OTL (our timeline) map of the warlord era is nigh impossible (I tried for a long time). Yet this Kaiserreich map offers this replication of 1936 China, complete with various warlord cliques and governments.
The map is printed in amazing detail; rivers, towns, cities, railroads; all are marked with fantastic details and style that makes this feel like a professional, legitimate map that you could see in a museum. I'm the type who could look at a good map for hours, and this offers such fantastic detail and scale to keep me interested. As the picture demonstrates, I've had this framed and hung in my room/office. It's my favourite piece of decor by far.
I 110% recommend this map. I would easily pay double for the quality and convenient shipping (no issues when it came to Canada!).

Waiting for Kaiserreich world map
As the title of my review says this map is absolutely incredible. Received this as an early Xmas present this year and its going straight up on my wall after I frame it.
The quality of the map itself and the material its printed on is amazing and just looking at it makes me want to spend another lifetime on Kaisereich.
