After victory in the Second American Civil War, Union State president Langdon ran for a third term in office on a shared ticket with vice-president Lemke promising a revival of his Share The Wealth programme. The Union State had only just emerged from a troubled time, only narrowly defeating the Business Plot and Pelford's attempted take-over, and the final Unionist victory had come at the cost of massive German support and influence. With economic concessions of much of the US' oil supply, the trading partners were forced into an uneasy truce as the AUS found itself bankrolling the Reichspakt's expensive foreign wars against syndicalist influences abroad. Though all states were now firmly under his control, the Kingfish found himself faced with a rapidly changing world stage, and many pitfalls still awaited the rebuilding nation.

Third in the Second American Civil War Series, the Union State poster features Howard Langdon, a character from The Divided States inspired by the real-world Lousiana senator Huey Long. In the world of Kaiserreich, Huey Long rises as the president of the formed Union State, leading a reactionary offensive against the Combined Syndicates in the north. The post was hand-painted by Vincent in 2020, and features a whole cast of Kaiser Cat Cinema Patreons making cameo appearances in the background. Every man a king!

This poster comes printed on a durable matte propaganda paper stock, and has the Kaiserreich and KCC logos in the top right half as a seal of authenticity. Grab your copy today!

Huey Long, the new man for America!

Wonderful poster of Huey Long and of Union State, whether for the design or the texture used. Fast shipping, ordered 4 days ago. The rendering is truly remarkable.

Good design, exorbitant price

Revised: While the design is superb and very immersive, the price is exorbitant. I bought it at the smallest dimensions for $21 (tax included) during the 4th of july sale. If I didn't, I would've payed $5 extra. That's ridiculous, especially considering that I could've printed it myself at the same dimensions on card stock with essentially the same visual quality, and more importantly, at no cost. The only way I'd buy anything else from this store is if I bought a bigger poster (one I can't print myself) and bought it with a frame. But I've spent enough already, so I'm afraid I won't be buying anymore posters from the store.

Hey Zach, if you feel the posters are too expensive, that's definitely fair. We are setting the margins to allow us to use the profits to help fund the shows, I'm afraid anything lower than $21 would be a net negative, printing and shipping would actually cost more than the sale. Sad to see you go!

Regards,
Vincent

Good design, exorbitant price

While the propogand-esque design is superb and immersive, the price is ridiculous. The smallest dimension goes for $21 (tax included) during the 4th of july sale. Thats too steep, especially when I could've just printed the design onto card stock with roughly the same dimensions at no cost. Hindsight being 20/20, I should've payed the few extra dollars to order the framed version. I'm afraid I won't be buying anymore posters from the store

About the artist

As a kid, Vincent would get into trouble for drawing German tanks on math tests. After retiring from the Kaiserreich mod team, he set upon the task of bringing the mod's incredible lore to Youtube. From there, he built KCC - a collective of creators focused on making original alt-history content!

About Kaiser Cat Cinema

We are an international collective of writers, artists, actors and musicians - joined in their common love for the alt-history genre. The mission is simple: An alt-history show on every screen, an alt-history book in every store!
