'The West Will Never Fall. Join the Combat Engineers'
The 'Combat Engineers' poster entered public awareness not long after the signing of the Rocky Mountains Ceasefire. This provisional peace allowed the Congressional (Pacific) States to stay neutral in the Second American Civil War - at least nominally.
While not engaged in active hostilities however, the Sacramento government had no illusions about eventually being drawn into the continent-spanning armed conflict between states. Early diplomatic ouvertures to foreign allies, such as the Empire of Japan and other democratically-minded countries across the ocean, allowed the Pacific States to build a surplus of arms and ammunition. Along with these efforts, the PSA government focused on building a string of fortifications along her Eastern borders - much centered around the impassable Rocky Mountains.
This poster, 'The West Will Never Fall', called up young men to enlist in the Combat Engineer divisions that built and manned this 'Rocky Mountain Line'. Conditions were often harsh - with baking hot summers and frozen mountain winters. Still, the geographical advantage of being holed up behind an entire mountain range were one of the main reasons the PSA was able to avoid conflict while it prepared for the worst.

KCC artists Vincent and Yana return with a much-requested follow-up to their popular 'Pacific States' series of art, developed for Kaiserreich and https://dividedstates-project.com/.. This 2025 poster swaps the frigid, Fallout New Vegas-inspired original art for a more sunny setting. This poster was originally proposed by KCC Patreon backer Crummby - and voted runner-up in the Patreon Poster Vote of 2024. As we often do, runner-up Patreon suggestions are also painted by the crew; not as Patreon-exclusive posters, but as new posters for public release.
This propaganda poster is available as a matte paper 'giclee' art print for a true vintage feeling, or as a framed alderwood art print.

About the artist
As a kid, Vincent would get into trouble for drawing German tanks on math tests. After retiring from the Kaiserreich mod team, he set upon the task of bringing the mod's incredible lore to Youtube. From there, he built KCC - a collective of creators focused on making original alt-history content!
About Kaiser Cat Cinema
We are an international collective of writers, artists, actors and musicians - joined in their common love for the alt-history genre. The mission is simple: An alt-history show on every screen, an alt-history book in every store!
