Up until the end of the Weltkrieg, there was no Poland. What was once a great empire of Eastern Europe was partitioned by the greedy empires of Prussia, Austria, and Russia. After almost 125 years of occupied territory, Poland was placed back on the map under German guidance. It is now a shadow of its former self.
An election for a new king of Poland has been fraught with difficulty. The regency council has been unable to form a consensus on who exactly should be elected. To complicate matters, both Germany and Austria have involved themselves in the debate as whoever is elected could tie Poland to either country's royal house, the Hohenzollerns or the Hapsburgs. With no clear end in sight, Poland's regency is set to continue in a status of limbo.
Almost 20 years after it's independence, Poland has yet to have chosen a monarch but the great debate is about to change. With growing political dissidence between the monarchists, Syndicalists, and republicans; and a looming economic crisis, the fate of Poland is critical towards the end of the regency.

About the artist
As a kid, Vincent would get into trouble for drawing German tanks on math tests. After retiring from the Kaiserreich mod team, he set upon the task of bringing the mod's incredible lore to Youtube. From there, he built KCC - a collective of creators focused on making original alt-history content!
