World War: 2044 is the world's first 'alt-history sci-fi' webseries. Each video re-imagines a famous WWII battle, but set in the 21st century. What would D-Day look like with modern paratroopers and rocket artillery? How would the attack on Pearl Harbor have played out were it a drone attack?
A new type of alt-history
The 'World War 2044' project is based on a series of viral concept art posts shared by Vincent in 2025. In these posts, Vincent tried to reimagine classic WWII equipment and outfit by mixing it with their modernized variants. The idea proved so popular that we are now developing videos based on the setting.

Alongside original art prints and concept art, the WW2044 project is an experient in combining video game engines and motion comic art in a 'machinimatic' - exploring large WW2 battle scenes with modern infantry and equipment.
The aim is to create narrative recountings of the great battle of the Second World War - but not as you know them!
